With the advancement in technology and the Internet becoming more widespread, the Government of the HKSAR announced in 1998 that e-learning will be incorporated into regular classroom teaching. To seize this opportunity, POPULAR Hong Kong entered the electronic education market in 2000 and established Popular e-Learning (H.K.) Limited ("PEHK"), which is responsible for designing and providing a comprehensive electronic learning solution for schools.
